自高中時接觸到金屬線工藝我便深深為之吸引，除了金屬亮麗的光澤和線條盤繞的美感，更令我著迷的是透過不同的彎折和編織加工，同樣的材料可以展開多種不同的變化，帶來更多的創作自由。
源於應用金屬線材創作的興趣，這次專案我嘗試進一步擴展金屬編織工藝的可能性：將原本屬於首飾創作的技巧應用到生活用品上，放大製作的尺度讓編織產生功能性，同時保留工藝品細緻和精巧的特點。

I has been fascinated by wire craft since I was in senior high school. Apart from the shining appearance and the elegant curve lines, what attracted me most is the innumerable possibilities when making wire creation.
In this project, based on the interest in wire craft, I wanted to expand the field of wire weaving art. Therefore, I applied this jewelry- making technique on houseware design, and tried to maintain the delicate feature of weaving, while enlarging its scale at the same time.

Product Design
「織金」經由設計轉化，簡化wire weaving手工的隨機元素，保留編織的層次，聚焦於線條交錯重疊的美感。
目前應用於大中小三款桌上型系列置物架：以金屬編織作為置物架的立面，既展示編織工藝細密精緻之處，亦藉此襯托放置的物品；亦可雙面翻轉、選擇不同的編織立面高度，因應擺放的物件變化。

I simplified the organic shape of typical wire craft works, and focused on the repetition of weaving.
To show the beauty of wire weaving, I applied it on desktop shelves, to formed the faces around the shelves. This way, the weaving can both elevate the texture of shelves, and emphasize the value of what put on them. Besides, both sides of the shelves can be used. Users can flip the shelves to choose the suitable height of weaving faces.
