This photo of me (below) was used to create the mermaid.
It was taken by a friend in Northern Ontario, Canada.
I have wanted to do some illustrations with photos of myself for some time. So with just a wee bit of photo manipulation, plus the addition of some extra body parts and a few seahorse companions, I’ve managed to recreate a whole new me!
Given the recent astrological events, I wanted to include a full eclipse of the sun. This image will be added to my book of stories as a new fairy tale with the eclipse as the main focus of the story.
