A magazine project a few years back focused on African American artists and Black History Month. Also, highlighting other events that happen around February!
The purpose of the magazine is to highlight special events, show case artist’s work, and advertise different museums. For this magazine, it was meant to shine a spotlight on African American artists. The magazine is called Art Daily and the museum I have chosen was the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and my concept for it was to promote Black History Month showcasing works from skillful African American artists.
