Cirque du Soleil had the opportunity to bring their awe-inspiring ‘KA’ show to the 42nd Comic-Con International. Cirque’s vision of transforming their performers into comic characters came to life when Rabbit Hole Creative’s team of illustrators modified twenty-seven photographs and composited them into a smooth animated piece that sent the audience on an aerial journey through a comic book. The final result was presented at the 2011 Comic-Con International and served as an introduction for the groundbreaking performance, wherein live Cirque performers interacted with projected video content on the side wall of San Diego’s Petco Park.
