I'm A Survivor Cancer Gala

This year "I'm A Survivor Cancer Gala" was held at the beautiful Randell Art Museum, located in Downtown St. Lois, Mo.
The element of  emphasis was used to show that guest re driving at the gala.

The guest arrived at 8 pm wearing all white and the festivities started with a VIP Gala, featuring entertainment and heart felt stories of cancer survivors and loved ones of survivors. In This Image unity is used to show that several guest are in attendance to support the Gala all in white attire.
There was plenty of food, drinks, and entertainment highlighted by master Juggler Ed, who was a fan favorite with the young attendees. In this picture contract is used to show by using the kids and the grown performer in the middle.
There was plenty of things going on on every level as upstairs the main presentation was being held honoring some brave heroes in the fight against cancer. Balance is show in this photo as well as rhythm by the way its framed and the subjects in it all in line as well as the lights.
The Information was very important and was well displayed. Emphasis was used on the picture by placing the subject to the far right and the information in the frame at a center position.
One on one, brave men like prostate cancer survivor Mike Jones talked about how getting tested saved his life and encouraged everyone to take a free screening test offered at the gala, and handed out important literature on prostate cancer. In This picture Emphasis is again used in how we are focused on the man with the important information and his look directly into the camera.
Mike Jones and Jim Hardy, both cancer survivors made me promise to take a free screening. Balance is used in this picture by framing the two survivors on the left and right of the frame.
Host and cancer survivor Orlando Watson takes a moment to thank me for coming and shared some thoughts on losing his mom recently to cancer as well as his personal fight against cancer. In this picture rhythm is used with the backdrop and balance is used with the subjects.
Nurse Wendy Jones(left) and Kim Massy(right) held free cancer screening and explained the importance of getting tested. The two nurses are used to forward the story using unity and balance as the are framed in the picture on opposite sides. on talking important information and one co-signing.
Guest Ladoran Finny agrees to be screened for prostate cancer. Emphasis is used in this picture to show the subject agreeing to do a cancer screening. He is framed with a artwork to his right to draw attention to his face.
After filling out some simple forms,  Mr. Finny waits to be tested. In this picture the story of the subject filling out paperwork to be tested uses emphasis again to give the audience a clossup of the paperwork.
Being tested only took a few moments and consisted of was a simple blood sample. In this picture contrast is used as the picture is split with a border of those filling out papers and the being tested.
Balance is used showing the hands joined in the gallery of the artwork. The art was on display at the gala. Some even got a chance to dance and have fun for a wonderful cause.
Awards were given to Orlando Watson and his family for their hard work and for hosting a wonderful event. Emphasis was used in this picture to show the award to host of the gala!
The Watson boys are dressed nice and ejoyed the evening. Contract between the kids is used to bring attention to how much fun the young sons of the host and survivor appreciate the evening.
Survivors of cancer all lined up for a group photo to celebrate life beating cancer. Balance, rhythm, and unity are on full display in this group picture.
Emphasis in on the DJ TAB as he was on the ones and twos providing exceptional entertainment and music for the event.
The crowd enjoyed a great time for a great cause. The rhythm of the night was being used in this photo to show the mood of the room at the award presentation.
In this photo the balance of the artwork was used to encourage you to visit the wonderful Randell Art Museum to see some great art from local St. Louis artists and hopefully, for a great cause. Everyone in attendance enjoyed the evening, even the art was engage to have fun!
