Burton Agnes Hall Gatehouse

This 17th-century gatehouse is located at the entrance to the grounds of Burton Agnes Hall, Burton Agnes, East Riding of Yorkshire, UK. The building was constructed in c.1610 by the architect Robert Smythson, well known for his work during the Elizabethan era.

It features many architectural forms which are typical of this period, including the battlements and ogee-shaped roofing. The gatehouse serves as a fitting welcome to the fascinating and historic stately home of Burton Agnes Hall.

This model was created by polygon modelling in Blender using my own photographs as a reference. The side walls and visitor signage are intentionally omitted as this model is intended solely as an interpretative piece of the architectural form of the gatehouse itself. - Personal project
