My contribution for the Portrait Shuffle exhibition which is to be held at the Festival of Quilts at Birmingham, UK, this year! Each participant was sent a kit which included a roughly 6" x 8" canvas. Artworks are to be confined to the canvas space. I decided to do an acrylic painting of Coco Chanel, art-deco style with elements of surrealism. The piece is inspired by Coco Chanel's quote "Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself".
