Criminal Intent
A series I did in college inspired by crime novels, David Hockney, Archetypes and Religious Icons.
These images were shot on a Nikon D1 as individual closeup images then composited together in Photoshop 5 in order to create a large print. I was influenced by David Hockney's Joiners series and the idea of putting together an image like a puzzle. I was also influenced by crime novels I love to read especially Raymond Chandler novels and this was a interpretation of some of the archetypal characters that resurface through-out his crime novels and stories as icons.
