Bleacher Report approached Headless Horse to create a series of illustrations and animations to announce the winner of the NBA's MVP Award. The illustrations were created using a blend of traditional and digital mediums such as pencil, charcoal and ink. The illustrations were then animated in After Effects to create a bullet time effect of each athlete in motion. Furthermore unique tracks were directed by us and Bleacher Report to coincide the each athletes personality and their performance during the current NBA season. The project was displayed on Bleacher Report's social media channels during the awards night amassing over 1.3million views.
