This project comprises of silk digital tunics made for a fabric/print design agency. The layouts have been composed with graphical elements. Each tunic has been incorporated with florals, reliefs, typography, and scenic images that fits the canvas perfectly giving each tunic its own individual appearance.
The main emphasis for the designing of the tunic line was to make something that would cater to the market’s need for everyday wear. Centrally alligned graphic elements and moderately fresh and soft florals were used. The silhoutte was just like a kurta so that women could relate to it be of any size. Sleeves were a bit shorter than normal to signify simplicity in cuts. Voile silk was used as the printing of a tunic because that suppports feel of an ethereal outfit plus these designs worked best with that cloth for printing. Use of trendy earrings and powder pink eye makeup with a sleek hairduo was used to support the print and not overpower it.
