Olay launched a global campaign called “Your Best Beautiful”. It focused on women putting their best face forward and being uncompromising about their natural beauty to others.
The concept behind this video was simple-to show that real beauty lies in yourself, not with the cosmetics used to hide one’s appearance.
Therefore, the video was edited to play backwards. The beginning shows a young woman with full makeup; as the video progresses, she removes it and is happy with how she looks in the end.
This was an industry led competition in college and this video chosen for second place. It was featured on Olay’s Youtube channel during the promotion of their campaign.
