Using a Nikon D5100 and natural light, I captured my subject as he prepared to skydive and as he descended from the sky. A high shutter speed was necessary to freeze the movement. Auto-focus was used in order to find the subject against the bright sky. It was especially difficult to focus (manually and automatically) the camera when he was descending because his blue parachute blended in with the blue sky.
