As an experiment, I decided to revisit characters I made up when I was eleven and imagine what they would be like in my current style. Although many of the basic elements remain the same, these once-bubbly, two-dimensional characters now have (somewhat cranky) personalities and (somewhat depressing) backstories, and are drawn in a style I feel is truly my own.
