Man Machine is a tunnel book. The cover is constructed of metal ducting, heavy duty door hinges, all riveted together with a hand riveter. The interior is created with a gradient of card stock paper, ranging from forest green, to pale yellow. The imagery was hand drawn onto the paper with blue ballpoint pen, then hand cut with razor and scissors. The pages are held together by two lengths of accordion folded paper, airbrushed to have a gritty appearance.

The concept behind Man Machine, is a not to distant future, man is born and bred only to work. Sleep has been eradicated, and replaced with a mandatory supplement that allows you to go without. The scene within this book is a factory, where these supplements are created, and forced upon the less than willing consumer.
