Narraciones Indígenas de La Sierra, is the first edition of the book series Narraciones Indígenas. This book is a compilation of stories from the oral tradition of the Colombian indigenous group Ikas or Arahuacos that live in the upper valleys of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, north of Colombia. 
The main goal of this publication is spread the cultural heritage of the Ika Community in Colombia and reach the schools and homes of the remote indigenous settlements.  Approach and captivate kids and teenagers of the indigenous community, was part of the proposes of this project. Since a big percent of the indigenous community don't speak Spanish this book was made in two languages, Spanish and Ika, one of the first in their kind.
This book has multiple illustrations inspired in the daily life of the community, bringing it close to the indigenous people and attracting the younger readers.
