Beirut, a city where nothing really changes and everything repeat itself. Beirut, a closed circle, where time stands still. Beirut is a cycle, and Shadi is a prisoner in it. He’s lost within the city. His path is defined by the stairs circulating Beirut, which begin and end at the same spot. Shadi represents every person living in Beirut whose life is predestined; 

he has no control over his future; he’s going to live and relive the same events, 

always make the same mistakes, waiting for the cycle to break.
