This illustration was a part of the collection of illustrations for my final year project Un-Comfort. As the rest are this is personal and political. It tries to deal with adulthood, trying to find oneself as a designer or an illustrator while still feeling pretty childish and like no work is good enough. "Ireland hates women" is just about visible in the background, and the feminine, soothing colours are a nod to Ireland's dismissal and covering up of its treatment of women, sugarcoating it maybe.
