In Pre-Hispanic times, Filipina women and the Datu- Queen has no power. They were trained to be a model wife and a mother; concentrated only on taking care of her husband or Datu and children. 

Today, Filipina can make things happen! They are powerful. They bring impact in the society. Their voice is important. They are in a higher positions: has a power, authority, and strength. They can be a leader, can do anything, and can work like a men. But the only thing that was not changing in being a Filipina is Her "ROYAL BEAUTY", it is being a Queen/Princess.

“You as a Filipina, You are Royalty, powerful and a Queen.

My Concept is about... Royalty and the beauty of a Filipina. Filipina today is powerful, I used black to represent strength, power and authority. My beads is inspired by Piet Mondrian, De Stijl ("The Style", also known as neoplasticism, a modernism movement.)

Main Colors:
1. Black - represents strength, seriousness, power, and authority. Black is a formal, elegant, and prestigious color, Authoritative and powerful. 
2. Gold - symbolizes ROYALTY, unity, freedom, people's democracy, and sovereignty. 

Accent Colors
3. Blue stands for the willingness to sacrifice oneself for freedom, peace, truth and justice.
4. Red symbolizes courage and patriotism
5. White equilateral triangle symbolizes liberty, equality and fraternity
