CONCEPT NOTE
The project talks about the Stigma around Menstruation that still exists in India.
Menstruation is a normal biological function that is definitely messy and painful but not at all shameful. Period shaming is widespread and in a country like India where being a woman is a dangerous disadvantage because of traditional misogyny and patriarchal structures ruling the roost, being on your period spells trouble.The main aim of the project was to spread awareness.
