NISSIN Cup Noodles

NISSIN wanted to promote the fact that they had new and improved ingredients across their range of Cup Noodles flavours and off the back of this, drive sales.
Rather than the usual in store point of sale and social media posts we persuaded the client to create a fun app, that would entertain, inform and encourage purchase.
To encourage consumers to download the NISSIN app, we gave it a fun shareable function: MangaCamr, that turns your photos into manga style captioned pictures which you can share across social media and messaging apps.
To access more manga filters consumers just need to scan different Cup Noodle flavours, the more cups you scan, the more filters you can use to create manga pictures.
Every time you scan an new flavour you see a quick quirky animation communicating the new improved ingredient in that particular flavour.
  
The app also allows consumers to watch brand and product focused video content.
After a successful launch in Singapore it is planned for the app to be used in major markets including Japan, India and Brazil.
