CRAVINGS ILLUSTRATIONS
Coming from the San Francisco Bay Area, I’ve always had easy access to a variety of my favorite delicious Asian cuisines. Now, living away from home, I am often struck by unsatisfiable cravings.
In this assignment I illustrated my favorite foods from home. I used soft textures to reflect the natural yet familiar imperfections in these comfort foods. To make the illustrations more dynamic and exciting, I depicted the food floating and assembling itself in midair.
