To do, to be, to Adobe.

This is an illustration work created for ADAA contest, aiming to show that all Adobe products are from and connected to the Creative Cloud, getting nutrition and paying back. They are all fruits that Adobe produced, and also glories that Adobe is proud of.

Adobe products are the most useful tools in my daily life. So when considering about creating an artwork for this competition, the first idea jumped out of my head is to turn my favorite applications into figures.

ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD

Adobe Creative Cloud is the main character who sits in a red blooming flower at the center of the canvas, wearing the logo with her and holding an Adobe book. This represents that all Adobe fruits are coming from the same origin about creativity and knowledge.

ADOBE PHOTOSHOP

Adobe Photoshop is my top one application that I can't live without. In the drawing, the character is holding a bag, pouring clouds, sun, moon and stars out, representing the function of image editing and compositing. I got color inspirations from Adobe's official images:

ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR

This character is designed to wear a painter cap and hold a palette. The flower-shape decorations coming from her palette are colored with the "Illustrator style", representing vector graphics and illustration. Inspiration references below:

ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS

Adobe After Effects is an fantastic tool, providing cinematic visual effects and motion graphics. Thus, this character born with magic power and is able to release purple fire to create a cool visual effect. Inspiration reference below:

ADOBE FLASH

Though it is now Adobe Animate and not called Flash anymore, I still named this character Flash as a great memory. In this drawing, there are four small guys wearing the same red caps, happy around. This represents sequential and interactive animations, just as the function of the application. Inspiration references below:
