Some places are best left untouched. Despite the harsh and extreme conditions that occur on the Svalbard archipelago, there is a wonderful beauty and peace to be found here, combined with the warmth and kindness of the remarkable people that live and study there throughout the year. My time spent in Svalbard is one I cherish and I hope these pictures do justice to such a wonderful place.
