I created this space/irregular picture plane piece to illustrate how the fear of change can sometimes affect people (they believe change is the end of the world). I used Art History images; such as WWI and II images, Sally Mann photography, Anseel Adams photography and others. I created some of the composition in Photoshop (Audrey Hepburn in a gas mask, the boy and lion, and the toddler in a gas mask). The entire composition is hand cut and glued using various adhesive (Acid free glue stick, Yes! glue). It also includes the poem "The End," by Mark Strand
