Hershey Corporate: Minneapolis Sales Office

Hershey Company is one of Stoner Graphix's major clients, and I've been able to work on quite a few projects for them. I've selected this one in particular (done for the Target sales office in Minneapolis, MN) because it shows a variety of vinyl wall graphics, standoff-mounted panels, dimensional lettering, and frosted window vinyl.

I was the lead designer on this project, so my duties included laying out Hershey's branding patterns and imagery to fit specific wall sizes, breaking down all the graphics for print, printing the graphics on our large format printer, creating outsource files for the dimensional letters, and providing the installation team with measurements for the install.

I've included photos of the finished work, as well as a variety of screenshots showing my specific roles throughout the project.
Standoff-mounted panels: In the images above and below, each panel was printed in reverse on clear vinyl, laminated with opaque white vinyl, and applied to the reverse side of routed clear acrylic panels. Thus, the graphics are actually located on the back side of the panels, which makes them less susceptible to the usual wear and tear.
Many times, the graphics are too big to fit in Illustrator at 100% scale, so I must work in 50%, 25%, and even 10% scale to ensure that the graphics will fit in the program.
In addition to the conference rooms shown in the photos, we also installed graphics in these 19 offices. Pictured above is my master layout for all of the rooms. Each had slightly different dimensions, so it was important to make sure each one received graphics that would complement the proportions of the wall.
Eight of the offices received frosted vinyl window graphics. This is my general layout for how the graphics would fit in the window space, along with measurements for the installation team.
Two walls received dimensional lettering; this screen shows the outsource file I created in order to have the letters fabricated.
Each room with vinyl wall graphics needed to be broken down into 50" wide panels in order to fit on the 54" material we use to print the graphics. The image above shows how each wall was broken down. Between each panel, I left 1" of overlap to ensure the panels lined up correctly.
