The task at hand was to create a Rock Music inspired character, who would travel through time and dress accordingly. Tyranni is a vampire hunter in a world where vampires are not immortal, they are simply time travelers from the future who show up in multiple time periods (which leads some to believe that they are immortal). Tyranni must follow in her elders' footsteps and seek out these "vampires" in each time period by playing the Blood Note on her violin, which causes these monsters to show their true form. In order to better fit into each different time period she travels to, Tyranni must attempt to conform to fashion norms, while still expressing her own dark personality.

The character's face had to be redesigned in accordance to an initial critique to make her more cartooned and appealing.
