We are all fans of movies and series sharing in fact the same cinematographic references. The series Black Mirror, Mr Robot or Stranger Things were obviously source of inspiration by their visuals or their storytelling.
We want to give the viewers matter of reflexion and want them to question themselves about our world and our relation with new technologies. That is why we decided to tell the story of Aaron and his application Panoptikon.

This short movie is about a real trending subject. Every week we learn a new problem that happens on a social media. Those problems are aggression, theft, suicide even murder  are broadcasted live on social media such as Facebook Live, Periscope or Snapchat.

Most people in front of their screen didn't do anything about it. They didn't call the police, alarmed people or do anything about it. This is the problem of our society. We became familiar with violence and these images are one in a million. But on Internet everything is kept and shared.

Our generation, the Y generation, grew up with social media, smartphone and camera close to our hand. We share more than ever without thinking of the consequences. This is why we want to warn people about sharing. We do not know who are the people behind their online alias.
Premier court-métrage étudiant. 2016 copyrights.
