Identity built for folk musician, The Family Francis. The initial inspiration for the typography came from the text on Neil Young’s ‘Harvest’ album cover. The goal was to create custom type for the logo that embraces and reflects the folk music genre. This included starting with a classic serif typeface and adding flowing lines and depth, in order to make the finished logo reminiscent of other logos in the genre.
