Vacuum Formed Liquor Bottle Holder

LIQUOR BOTTLE HOLDER
in collaboration with Carlo Templo and Chris Rana

A commissioned production project from a client, this project required us to make 10 liquor bottle holders in a span of just two weeks. With the help of several rapid prototyping tools like the Vaquform, we managed to finish the project from sculpting to vacuum forming to painting and finishing in just an accumulated time of approximately five to seven days.
THE CONCEPT
Liquor Bottle Holder concept from the client to be used for a Halloween Party.
PRODUCTION PROCESS
Vacuum forming molds. We had to split the parts into three so that the molds would fit in the Vaquform's platen.
Waiting for the plastic to heat up! We used 1.5mm HIPS sheets.
Some of the unpainted vacuum formed parts.
Assembled and ready to be painted!
Laminated laser-cut acrylic for the sparkler holders.
