Market research was done on Crate & Barrell, Pottery Barn, Anthropologie and Zara Home. Parameters which were focused were product, product size, style, material trend, technique, season, color and theme.
BRIEF RESTATEMENT
According to the market research flora fauna is in trend.
Its been also observed that all the stories showcased by crate and barrel has a flavour of nature in it, which represents the SUMMER HOUSE.
The theme for the design collection is taken from the attributes collected from all the stories; and combined together.
The concept of water colour effect which is given by the sponsor’s is taken forward and incorporated in the selected theme POLLINATORS PARADISE.
POLLINATORS PARADISE is achieved from the selected keywords (spring-summer flowers, pollinators, garden) of the stories of SUMMER HOUSE.
Keeping in mind all the important aspects on the basis of research, stories and trend it has become very important to create an awareness among people to maintain the balance in our ecosystem.
