When I had my own home, I decided I was going to paint the interior with roman murals. This Medusa head was the first thing you'd see when you came in the front door. She's about 4" x 4" with metallic gold highlights in her eyes. 

This painting is a composite of many different authentic Roman mosaic and mural images. I wanted to create one that was not just a copy of someone else's ​​​​​​​2000-year-old work.
