Aventuri Cercetășești (Scouting Adventures) is an illustrated pop up book inspired by the time I spent at the scouts. Nature became one of the subjects that influenced my works the most since then. In this book, I illustrated the joyful spirit of scouting making use of contrasting colors, curved lines, flowy shapes and all sorts of playful watercolor techniques. By making the book 3D and interactive, I wanted to recreate the feelings of fun, surprise and unexpectedness that are so specific to scouting camps.
