I created packaging for a hand crafted hard cider. I wanted to bring a hand crafted element to the design to tie into the hand-made element of the beer, so the text on the front "Apple Jack" and the tree drawing are hand sketched and drawn in illustrator. I also created the brand for this particular beer, which is Big Apple Brewing Company located in NYC. The package label design has a vintage hand craft feel which emphasizes the locally brewed cider. The colors represent the marriage between a farm or rural area and modern shapes and designs seen more so in the city. This brew tells a story of how ideas can start anywhere, even in small areas and grow to be something bigger, even reaching New York City.
