THE KEY APARTMENTS
This project was a mixed-use multifamily residential apartment building located in the up-and-coming O.C Haley corridor in New Orleans, LA. My concept involved two interlocking programmatic masses, which created a sky lobby, called "The Key", for residents in the intersection of the program, providing excellent views of the skyline. The commercial section includes space for a cafe and bookstore, as well as three levels of rentable office space. Residents have access to a rooftop garden, pool, and tanning space as well as an intimate tree-lined garden path. Individual units include sliding glass panels that can open up apartments during good weather, and most are two-level lofts.
