PROVIDENCE RESTAURANT

Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina had an excellent problem. Their Triad Community Kitchen catering and job training programs were so popular that they were bursting at the seams. In fact, they were turning down more catering assignments than they were accepting.

Leaving money on the table is never good. Something had to be done.

The answer was Providence Restaurant. Adjoining a hotel on the north side of Winston-Salem, the restaurant serves traditional restaurant patrons and hotel guests alike. In addition, they manage the hotel’s event spaces.
Staff at Providence is still trained via the Triad Community Kitchen program. This allows them to work all positions from kitchen to front-of-house to be more well-rounded when “graduating” to look for work at other area establishments.

We devised a wide variety of materials ranging from an identity package and signage designs to sauce labels and t-shirts. In addition we developed their online presence (beginning with a  funding campaign via Kickstarter and concluding with a website that tells their story and accepts reservations), print advertising and marketing materials, event invitations (with an edible element, of course), menus and branded check holders for the tables.
