'Om Mani Padme Hum'
As a part of my final year at university it was essential to organise an exhibition to showcase our work. In doing so, my class mates and I decided to also organise a fundraiser in which we could raise money towards our degree show. As a part of the fundraiser we decided to create a dozen screen prints each based around our personal interpretation of the word ‘habitat’. My screen print was inspired from the Buddhist mantra ‘Om Mani Padme Hum’ which is very personal to me. We then auctioned and sold our screen prints.
