Every February in Puno, the whole region is partying. Its the Festivity of Candelaria Virgin. Celebrated in honor of the miracles occured in the times of overexploitation by the big mines. Thousands of people come to Puno after being practising the whole year to pay homage to the Virgin. Every night in february you can see the groups dancing and drinking in the streets of the center with really expensive and colorful dresses.
