VINTAGE FLOUNCER
The given theme for the month of January was RUFFLES, PLEAT & GATHERS.
My idea to compile this theme is right from the victorian era. I wanted to keep my garment very basic and natural in texture therefore I aimed at using muslin for my project. In my mood board I gathered ideas that igniting the theme of vintage, cottonish old withered feel. The off white gauge texture really appealed to my senses for the given theme. Hence adding the beauty of ruffles and gathers to compliment the beauty of basic fabric.
