As part of a course, I redesigned the cover of 'Lateral Thinking' by Edward De Bono. The aim was to create a fresh look for the book, distancing itself from the slew of other books under the category of creative thinking.
Lateral Thinking is the skill of looking at things 'sideways', by looking at things from a different perspective one can come up with divergent solutions to the same problem. For this I envisioned, Escher's multiple perspective staircases, topsy- turvy, one doorway leading to another.
The colours were taken from Bono's concept of 'Six Thinking Hats'- Yellow, Blue, Red, Green, White and Black.
