The Immigrant - Title Sequence Design
This is a remake of a title sequence for the 2013 film The Immigrant. The goal of the title sequence was to introduce the film using a visual metaphor and not reveal too much of the story. I decided to film a paper boat floating on water and watch as it catches fire and sinks. Not only is the imagery directly related to immigration, it is also related to the struggle to achieve the American Dream. This will subtly allude to the story of immigration and the suffering the main character experiences.
