Fertile Future Organization
Fertile Future is a Canadian non-profit organization that provides fertility preservation information and support to cancer patients. Their mission is to inform, educate, and support cancer patients who are facing fertility-risking medical treatment, and oncology professionals who are providing this care.
Creative Direction
For this PSA I wanted to raise awareness on what Fertile Future does and how their services impact cancer patients in Canada. I decided to focus on the positive aspect of the organization and what your donation to Fertile Future looks like.
Voice Over
I decided it would be appropriate to have my mom, Dr. Carolyn Cooke, do the voice over for the PSA. Besides being a great mom, she is a gynecologist and a supporter of Fertile Future and their goals.
Charitable Mood
The elements used to create the positivity for the piece included soft colors, animations of branches growing, leaves and flowers, and a soft paper texture.
Music
Jonathan Atkins, a musician from Toronto, perfectly executed the lightheartedness I required for the project.
