This project was all about researching upcoming color trends for spring 2018 and picking one we believe will have a strong presence in fashion during that time. Our color board had to have a clear message and aesthetic to back up our argument.

The color I chose was pantone's spiced coral for the spring of 2018. Blush colors have recently become popular in the fashion world and I believe that this color will stick around for a long time due to its versatility. This color could be paired with other neutrals to create a mature and sophisticated palette, or with dark navy and grays to create a strong, feminine look. This color could be loved by many demographics for this reason, since the older woman dressing for work can use this color just as well as the young girl dressing up for a party can. This color could infiltrate the beauty market as well, allowing brands to use this trend in a variety of their product lines.
