Tissot Headquarters
Office Design and Space Planning
This project’s intent was to create a space that lasts through time, by using natural materials in a collaborative work environment. With focus on furnishings and space planning, this project served as a headquarters for the Swiss watch company “Tissot.” My approach was to create an environment that was comfortable and relaxing, similar to working in an open space overlooking the Swiss Mountains, rather than designing an office plastered with clocks and red and black wallpaper.

This whole plan supported an office of open communication and the promotion of networking and socializing. Upon entering the offi ce an employee would be greeted by the receptionist at the front desk. Off to the right he or she would have the choice of café mocha or hot chai tea before either going to his or her desk or working in the common space in front of the conference rooms. The floor plan of the office was laid out with two types of work areas. Team work space is indicated by circles overhead
or underfoot while walnut wood flooring indicates a private work environment with desks and dividers.
