Sketchbook- Keeping up with a sketchbook is part of our class work for the graphics 2 class at Baylor University. It is a way for us to have the creative freedom to sketch what we want while also practicing our technique.
Sketchbook #3- This is a sketch of the waco farmers market. It is done using water color on water color paper. Is is a perspective drawing with minimal detail, but illustrates the structure of the space.
Sketchbook #3- This is a sketch of common grounds from the back yard. There is landscaping with the bushes and trees. It is a water color drawing on water color paper.
Sketchbook #3- This is a sketch of a tea pot and mug sitting on a table. It experiments with a different type of shading showing the three values.
Sketchbook check #1. This is a sketch of a sofa in an apartment building of a girl who lives in Waco, Texas. The sofa had a variety of intricate detailing and line work throughout. The tufting of the sofa was one thing that made this sofa unique.
Sketchbook Check #1. This is a a drawing of a coffee nook in a house on 10th street in Waco, Texas. This sketch is a small table that had basket underneath. Hanging on the wall above the table was a hanging shelf with a variety of coffee mugs displayed on it.
Sketchbook #2- This is a sketch of lamp. It was located outside of draper hall. It is done with pen in a sketchbook with shadow and shading. It is half way off the paper to provide interest.
Sketchbook check #1. This is a sketch of a mason jar that sits on a kitchen table. It is used as a decorative piece. It has a variety of detail with impressions in the glass conveyed in the sketch.
Sketchbook Check #2. This is a drawing of a narrow table that holds a small t.v on top. It is used in a small apartment where the space is limited. In the shelves are a few books and mugs.
Sketchbook Check #2. This is sketch in front of a low window located in moody library at Baylor University. It was depicted from a viewpoint slightly above the desk. There were a few books located on top of the desk.
