This is a series of watercolor paintings of a character that I made up. Her name is Shelly and she's a tortoise. My favorite out of all of these is her sitting on a pillow reading a book. I'd love to develop a short story with illustrations about her, but don't know how to get started. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
