As a junior at SCAD I was to create a series of large poster-sized academic calendars for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year. Each of these posters were required to express a specific relationship between the text and the image, all including photos instead of illustrations. One or more relationships could be expressed as long as the required relationship was satisfied.

Separation, a horizontal cityscape of Hong Kong reflecting the strong architecture in the type.
Fusion, a vertical posters of a balloon sculpture, in which the type is placed within layers of balloons.
Fragmentation, a vertical collage of 5 photographs of Macau creating an illusion of spinning but anchored by the text.
Inversion, a vertical image of the SCAD Museum using the image of a hanging sculpture as text.
