Armel is a new brand of male cologne that stands to represent strength in its most natural form. Armel embodies men, who have high security occupations and despite the seriousness of their work maintain a down to earth perspective. Based on my cousin Matthew Castillo, this new line of male cologne aims to exemplify the natural protective instincts of these men.
This French title, “Armel,” originated from an old Welsh name meaning bear prince. The duality between nature and industry can be seen through out the design of the cologne bottle and gift set. Ultimately, the goal of this project, loosely based on my cousin, was to build a brand of fragrance that symbolize men that share serious and dangerous occupations but demonstrate a down to earth outlook on life.
