ARTIST STATEMENT
Title: The Nature Rug
Type of Artwork: Interactive Projection Mapping
Size: 6ft x 4ft
This artwork is based from Persian garden design to present the impeccable state of nature and what did us “human” had done to our nature habitually. From this artwork, I want we to reevaluate our position in the world rather than being silent and let the nature degrade from our own actions because we keep on crippling the nature.
The projection mapping shows the condition of nature being destroyed and trying to recover by itself again and again but us “human” will always done something bad for the nature. The sounds also portrays of some of activity that we as human do.
