This is the call for entries, program invitation and program guide for the Direct Marketing Association of Detroit's annual awards show. Because direct marketers often take a back seat to the brand advertising folks, this creative humorously employed the tone and look of a charity mailing to encourage agencies to enter the awards show and save all the "unappreciated" direct marketers.
