A logo updating for a Non-Profit Theater Organization, The Oswego Players.
The final logo (above) concept in several finishes. A watercolor style option, black, white and transparent options were all drafted for wide use across different mediums such as t-shirts, merchandise, tickets, programs, and web applications.

The overall design was inspired by the form of a spotlight on a stage, an iconic feature in live theater productions. The typeface, Limelight by Nicole Fally for Sorkin Type Co. is a homage to traditional art deco type trends. This typeface was selected to reflect the organization, founded in 1938, and their rich 78 year history rooted in vaudeville theater performances.
Above are a few of digital drafts and experimentation created in Adobe Illustrator as well as an early thumbnail sketch.

Overall the project utilized Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
